Double Choc Tahini Cookies

MAKES 12 COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup almond meal

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 egg

  • a pinch of salt

  • handful of chopped dark chocolate

RECIPE

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl: almond meal, cacao powder + salt

  2. Add the wet ingredients: tahini, honey & egg

  3. Gently fold in the chopped dark chocolate

  4. Scoop out the mixture with a tablespoon, roll into balls & flatten on a lined baking tray 

  5. Bake in the oven for 10 mins on 180 degrees

  6. Let cool before serving
