Chilli Tuna Pasta Salad

You will need

  • 1 packet pasta of choice – I used buckwheat pasta which is a GF pasta alternative
  • A few large handfuls of spinach
  • 2 carrots
  • 3-4 tins of chilli tuna (95g tins)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lemon
  • Tahini dressing (recipe below)


  1. Boil pasta as per packet instructions
  2. Peel and grate carrots, dice avocado & slice lemon
  3. Once pasta is cooked, combine in a bowl with grated carrot, spinach and chilli tuna – also add the oil of the tuna to help combine everything and for more flavour!
  4. Serve into bowls and top with diced avocado, tahini dressing and a slice of lemon

Tahini dressing recipe

  • Mix 2 tbsp of tahini, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp honey & 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar in a jar with some water and shake to combine
