Vanilla Protein Slice

Every month I get a delivery from GoodnessMe Box which is a health food sampling service. Each month, I’m surprised you with popular clean eats! My favourite thing about receiving these goodies each month is the recipes that I get to create using different ingredients that I don’t always have! This month my box contained so many delicious goodies and one of these was a sample of Happy Way Vanilla Protein.. so I have created this delicious Vanilla Protein Slice that’s full of wholesome natural ingredients! Give it a go and let me know what you think!

you will need:
  • 5 dates
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp coconut cream
  • Salt
  • 1 serving vanilla protein (I used happy way protein in this recipe)
Instructions:
  1. Soak dates in hot water and let sit while you prepare other ingredients
  2. Add oats, nuts, maple syrup, coconut cream salt & vanilla protein to blender
  3. Add dates and a small amount of the hot water to the rest of the ingredients in the blender
  4. Blend until mixture is combined (don’t worry if your nuts haven’t completely blended, this will give the slice some extra crunch!)
  5. Remove from the blender and spread out evenly in a lined baking tray
  6. Set slice in the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour
  7. Once slice is frozen cut up into bite sizes pieces and keep stored in the freezer
